The game was off to a good start with great defense from the Bellville City boys and good handling by the goalkeeper.

Bellville City had a few chances in  the box but on two occasions the ball came off the thigh of forward, Aiden David

The Edgemead boys made good use of a lapse of concentration in the Bellville defense when defender Lucien Scotsman was injured and scored their first goal before half time.

The Bellville boys fought back with a few good runs by Zam ……..but were unable to get the ball in the net. Edgemead then scored another 2 goals before half-time, leaving the score at 3 -0.

The Bellville boys picked themselves up and with some changes to the squad at halftime,there were two great crosses into the box by Zinzan ….. but the goals were not on Bellville’s side this week.

Edgemead scored one more goal to seal the fate of the day and the final score was 4 – 0.
