A long drive out to Fish Hoek ended in a bit of disappointment for the Bellville City  boys but resulted in a very exciting game to watch.

Fish Hoek scored their first goal in the first half after a defensive error by a Bellville City defender. Bellville City equalised soon after with a goal when we were awarded a penalty, which was confidently taken by Zam.

Then a bit of a reckless tackle by the Bellville City defence caused a penalty to be awarded to Fish Hoek and they were 2-1 up. 

After half time, the BCFC boys played all heart and the referee missed a handball by Fish Hoek defender in the penalty box.  Fish Hoek scored two more goals in the second half, one of which was questionably offside. Zam then scored his second goal of the day after some good passing by the boys.

A third goal by Zinzan was also disallowed in the last two minutes of the game as the referee said the ball did not cross the line before the goal keeper hit it out of the net.

It was a tough game BCFC boys played very well.”
