It is the function of the Bellville City Football Club (BCFC) 1st reserve team to be the primary feeder team to the BCFC 1st team.
The structure of the 1st reserve team is that it is a component of the 1st team squad.
As such, the composition of our team is made up of fringe 1st team players and top performing junior players so that they may gather the requisite experience. By occasionally training together with the 1st team, the culture of 1 squad / 2 teams is fostered.
The objective of the team is to be competitive and challenge for honours in the reserve league. The objective of each individual player is to improve so that they may challenge of places in the 1st team.
It is our ambition to uphold the club ethos of a family-friendly environment and a community club atmosphere, will maintaining a competitive edge.
We believe that a strong reserve team equates to a strong 1st team.
