It was a successful weekend for our Ladies overpowering Clyde Pinelands by 6-1.
Our fixture against Clyde Pinelands was rescheduled a couple times, however, we eventually got to play it on Saturday at 3:45pm. The BCFC ladies were by far the better team on the day and it showed by the way we played.
Our Number 10, Savanna Forbes opened the scoring in the first 7 minutes of the game, thereafter, Salina Ludi & Sune Van Heerden to added two more goals to our tally before half time. With plenty chances in the game, our ladies were unlucky to not have had 10 goals before half-time.

In the second half, we had a couple changes in attack, however, our finishing was not on point for some ladies. We conceded 1 goal through a good play from Clyde, however, we lacked communication and only have ourselves to blame.
Besides the 1 goal we conceded, our defense was still solid and were on fire. We scored our 4th goal through a couple minutes after conceding and to put our 3goal cushion back in tact by Kirsten Sinclair.
Shannon Mills was on the score sheet once again, she set up and slotted away another fantastic free-kick. The nail was hit on the head with a 6th goal by Kirsten Sinclair and completing a result which speaks for itself.
With 17 shots off target and 3 offsides, it shows we were on the attack and could have punished Clyde Pinelands with a heavier scoreline, however, our ladies were playing like champions and deserved the win.

Once again the coaching staff are happy with our ladies performance and look forward to the next game.
We have our next game tomorrow evening (Tuesday, 23rd) at UCT at 7pm, and we will be looking for at least a point away from home.
