U11A had a titanic game at home against a very determined Bothasig group.

When we observed the discipline in their warm up we knew we had a fight on our hands.

We were caught napping and a minute into the game found ourselves a goal down. The coach nearly died and came out voice blaring and fist pumping spurring the lads back into the fight.

With 5 minutes of play gone, the mighty Bellville City lads had not only levelled the deficit but had slipped in another cracker to make it 2-1.

Bothasig were on the ropes and we were determined to knock them out.”I want another goal” SCREAMED the MANIC coach!

He did not wait long before the ball SCREAMED into the back of the Bothasig net. Bellville were in command. Bothasig were not giving up and scored a brilliant goal just dipping over the keepers head to make it 3-2.

With less than a minute to go Bellville once again drew blood and we went into half time 4-2 up.

This was exciting. Bothasig dug deeper and never gave up to their credit.Bang!, they scored that 3rd goal and their fight and determination kicked in.

The 2nd half was an epic battle but Belllville could not find the back of the net again. In the dying minute Bothasig levelled the scores.

The final score 4-4. An excellent mornings entertainment and great sportsmanship showed by both teams. I cannot wait for the next chapter.
