With this being our 4th game in 9 days (and with a limited team in terms of numbers) we lacked the necessary urgency and vitality required to perform to our best.

 

That been said, the team defended manfully and executed good counter-attacks that frustrated the opposition. Unfortunately from the 20th minute we were unable to sustain the attacks and conceded 3 goals in the process.

The 2nd half saw the team continue and actually find some extra reserve to lift themselves and enjoyed a period of parity for approximately 15 minutes. However, with our opponents putting fresh legs on the field, we conceded another goal.

 

At the 70 minute mark, despite all players starting to tire, we were able to launch a swift counter-attack scored via well-placed lob. The scorer was Johnathan Carter, who continues his rich vein of goal-scoring form, having scored 6 goals in 5 games now.
