However, an unfortunate error in defense allowed the opposition their first real opportunity, which they prompted took.

 

Thereafter the opposition enjoyed a period of dominance as the team rushed their build-up play a little. They looked to recover and gain parity as soon as possible, but this resulted in some disjointed play. We were unfortunately were unable to hold the ball for long periods of time.

 

At the half hour mark, another individual error in defense resulted in another goal for opposition. This caused the team lose focus and confidence, up until the break.

 

Halftime: Bellville City 0-2 Durbanville

 

After the break, with renewed emphasis on working together, the teams once more contested a match where both teams had opportunities to score. With 10 minutes remaining, and BCFC pushing hard for a goal the opponents were able score from a counter-attack.

Well played by Durbanville FC.

 

The BCFC team did well to regain focus and continue fighting throughout the match. They also look forward to the next match we they can correct their mistakes and produce the football that they are capable of.
