The team played committed football which saw them dominate large passages of play throughout the 1st half. With a fairly solid defence and good movement of the ball, BCFC always looked more threatening. And so it was, good attacking play on the left wing by Zinric Jacobs resulted in a penalty.

 

Johnathan Carter stepped up and confidently converted the opportunity. (1-0 BCFC)

The 2nd half was more evenly matched as Vasco pushed hard for an equaliser. Because of this pressure, BCFC was able to manipulate the opposition defence and Kerwin Africa assisted with a through ball which was put in the net by Ayden Jacobs. (2-0 BCFC)

 

Now Vasco pushed even harder and this resulted in a free-kick just outside the penalty box. From this they were able to score. BCFC never dropped their heads and knew that they were the better team. Once again, from a swift counter-attack, Kerwin Africa assisted with a through ball which was put in the net by Ayden Jacobs. (3-1 BCFC)

 

This result was all the more remarkable as BCFC had no recognisable goalkeeper for the match.
