Ladies 26th Jun 2017
We went to Table View on Friday the 23rd of June with our hopes of a possible away point.
Unfortunately, it was not our day and we went down 3-1 to a decent Table View side. We simply were not good enough in front of goal and in our final 3rd.
We played our opponents game and it did not suite us at all. We had a chat at half time to change the way we were playing and it showed in the last 30 minutes. We scored an equalizer through our top goal scorer, Naemi Frenzel, however, we were not able to capitalize on that.

Our ladies were not adapting to the field and the atmosphere as it showed through the tired legs and body language. Shannon Mills came very close to equalizing with a long range free-kick which smashed the cross bar, but it just did not go in. She had a couple of close opportunities, but it just did not get into the back of their net.
Towards the end of the game, we had a reshuffle in defense and it put some mixed emotions in the air and we conceded a sloppy goal.

Our performance was not too bad, however, we are playing better and I believe we deserved atleast a point against Table View. Our next game is hopefully against Green Point this weekend, as we are both out of the Knock-out and a rescheduled league game could be on the cards.
