We took the positive momentum of last week’s game against Northpine’s A team into this game vs. Edgemead.

The boys showed real steel and dedication and played as a unit in attacking and defending. There were many opportunities for both sides but the breakthrough eventually came as we stretched the defence and a great strike from distance by Janek created the predator finish by Donisio making it 1-0.

They continued to apply the pressure, but our goalkeepers were excellent.

Just an all round brilliant performance. The score was not a true reflection of the match but as a coach I could not ask more of the boys who left it all on the field.

The boys are growing in confidence and it shows in their play and discipline.
