Our second away game of the season to De Beers and we’re set on taking the points home. (Coaches once again agree on playing six inside plus goalie.)

First Third : Our boys are started very well and the confidence shows in the way they are passing the ball and attacking the De Beers goal. Fortunately, this time we manage to score (Riaan Kuyk) within minutes of the start, but that was surprisingly it, as quite a few goal scoring opportunities are wasted by off-target shooting. 0-1 up.

Second Third : Still controlling much of the game, the boys fail to find the second one and our opponents start attacking more. An unfortunate mix-up in our make-shift defence results in an own goal, bringing the scores level.

Final Third : De Beers now sees the opportunity to go for the win, but were unable to breach the defence as they resort to long range shooting. Our boys are still missing one chance after the other and have only themselves to blame for this one, as the ball goes everywhere except for hitting the goal.
