The less said about this match the better. We simply did not turn up on the day. Besides one or two players we were lacklustre and not up for it.

Really poor defending at set pieces led to all the goals Vasco scored which made it look worse then it was. We were simply asleep at setpieces.

Otherwise after going down 4-0 late in the second half our keeper Herno van der Linden did well to block a couple of shots when the team was utterly deflated.

Hard work ahead this week at training and then more fight needed for our first round cup match this weekend coming against Edgemead.
