The sixth side played their derby game today against Durbanville.

 

After play was rained out in the week against Bothasig, the guy’s kept focused and took the field against a strong Durbanville XI.

 

We had the pleasure of a national referee (Joshua van Rensburg) taking charge of our game. 

 

The boys came out fighting and created many opportunities in the first half. Durbanville never had one shot on target. We managed to put the ball in the net half way through the first half. 

 

We went out for the second half determined to finish the game off and, as a result, we scored the game finisher 10 minutes from full time.

 

Well done to Robert Conradie and Grant Gregory on their goals.

 

Well done to all the boys for effort and clean sheet.
