The 6th side played away at Chukker Road against Lansdowne on Saturday. It was our first official game of the season, due to postponements etc.

The guys were amped for the game and well prepared. It was a evenly matched game between the two sides and Bellville played well.

Unfortunately we did not create enough opportunities and the ones we did create we did not convert. Lansdowne had very few chances yet managed to  convert from a corner to score what was, eventually, the only goal of the game.

Overall the boys played well for the first game of the season, however we will need to create more opportunities during the season and upcoming games. The game ended 1-0 in Lansdowne’s favour.
