The 1st team played Wynberg St Johns away this past weekend, having to field a makeshift squad of players to fulfill the fixture as not all the first team squad are registered as yet in terms of cards from the district.

We went down 4-1, with a few questionable decisions from the linesmen going against us, but on the whole a good game of football, played in good spirit by both teams.
My thanks goes to a few stalwart players from within the club who stood up to assist the team at short notice, namely: Brett Philp, Jacobus Haak and Marco Garguilo, with Jacobus Haak and Marco Garguilo making their long overdue first team debuts. Marco marked his debut by scoring within 5 minutes of coming on with Brett doing a solid job in central midfield from the start and Lawrence Jansen van Rensberg in holding midfield.
