It was going to be a long game for the boys as there were no subs for the entire game.

First quarter we pressed the ball directly after centering. Fluent play saw Phoenix put the ball between the goalkeepers legs to make it 1-0 to Bellville. We went on to create a lot of chances that went astray.

De Beers pressed us as well but our defence was resilient for the entire game. We had to hold the ball for as long as we could to eliminate a lot of running.

The boys managed to see the game out to the end without subs. They were totally exhausted but showed true character.
