We lost our captain during the week as his stellar performances earned him a call up to 1st Reserves. His motivational influence and workrate will be missed but it was no excuse for a seriously below par performance of the team against an average Wynberg side.

This is most definitely 3 points dropped at home.

We only played good footy in patches and our defense let in some really soft goals. It will be back to the drawing board to remedy the frailties shown.

One of the very few who had a good game was Albert van der Linden who was solid at right back and gets my Man of the Match.
