The game started 5 min late due to ref being late. The first 5 minutes we were under pressure and had to do a lot of defending. We came through well and started to structure our attacks well.

Good passing and positioning led to the first goal by Simon Hugo. The pressure continued with good ball retention and strong passes through the mid field.

Athan de Jager scored the second goal with a beautiful long range attempt. The third goal came right before half time when Ugo Ezen scored from good linking with Ben.

We ended the first half 3 – 0.

The second half started as the first with defending the order of the day. The pressure was well absorbed and we got our attack going by taking the ball down the right wing crossing into the box.

Athan scored his second goal after a beautiful cross from Thaylen Gilbert. We were 4 – 0 up. Shortly afterwards they breached our defense to score their only goal of the match.

The boys kept to their structure and we took up the pace keep them under pressure. Nahum had great opportunities but just could not find the back of the net.

We eventually scored 5 minutes before the end of play with Athan finding the back of the net to go 5 – 1 up. Athan got a hattrick!

The game was played in good spirit.

Players were well behaved and both sides showed respect for opponents.
