A friendly home game versus Table View U14s was arranged.

 

With the help from three U15 players as well as three U13 players, the starting 11 was comprised of nine U14 players.

 

The first 10 minutes of the match was packed with action. Bellville taking no time to take advantage of their front three attackers scoring 3 goals in quick succession.  

 

In the next 15 minutes Bellville conceded a penalty and our young kepeer was put to the test. Jens made an incredible save and on the rebound managed to put enough pressure on their penalty taker to parry his shot over the bar.

The second half continued in the same fashion and the boys wanted more goals.

 

Bellville scored another 3 unanswered goals finishing off the game 7-1.

 

A special mention has to go to Leo, our center forward,  who scored a hat trick.

 

The boys played a great game and showed great character on the pitch. We are looking forward to the season.
