We where honoured to have the Bellville City FC Ladies captain  ( Suné van Heerden ), Ladies soccer coach (Coach Dale) and Coach Grant from the U/13’s to come help give the teams some warm up before the games and motivate the young ones.

 

U12 A Captain for the game was Youchim Hartenberg

 

The team started like a house on fire, pressing from the word go and that come to haunt us towards the end of the game cause of the heat. 

 

With extreme nervousness from our young players in the first 10 minutes after opportunities where created by Edgemead relentlessly, we consided an early goal from a brilliant run by Edgemead forward.

 

The 2nd half was a better half with Jeremia (Mias ) saving us from an onslaught from Edgemead FC, as they capitalised on our fatigue from the 1 half.

 

Our Bellville side conceded 4 goals in the last 7 min of the game. A well played game and credit to Edgemead FC boys. 

 

Overall the boys and girl saw their mistakes and even gave imput on what they thought needs to be improved from their side. It’s always good to see young players starting to understand their roles and take responsibility for their actions on the game.
