The Beefcakes took on a very fit and well structured De Beers outfit Thursday evening in Somerset West.

Playing on a field which pretty much resembled Wembley was an absolute treat, but unfortunately did not play in our favour. We conceded a first-half goal, due to a lack of concentration. 

There was a vast improvement in the second-half, but sadly we couldn’t claw ourselves back in the match.

Final Score: De Beers 1 – 0 Bellville City

The game took a lot out of us and we suffered a number of injuries during the game, the most serious was Paul Snare. He will be out the rest of the season and we would just like to wish him a speedy recovery.
