We had a great start to proceedings vs Wynberg with a composed start to the game, going 1-0 ahead after 15mins (goal scored by Grant White). We were holding up well in defense, with a couple of decent, but routine saves for the u18 Debutant goalkeeper Daniel Malan. 

 

Shortly before half time, we conceded a sloppy goal from a corner and then Wynberg started to put together a run together for most of the 2nd half. We then had 2 fantastic opportunities to score, unfortunately hitting the woodwork twice. We then conceded a penalty, which was scored, and conceded another shortly afterwards going down 3-1. 

 

An open goal opportunity was fluffed due the uneven surface that we unfortunately have to play on due to water restrictions and drought. 

 

We pressed for the last 20 mins and it was all Bellville, scoring a 2nd goal (goal be Lee Herbert). Unfortunately we didn’t have anything left in the tank to score the all important equaliser losing 3-2.
