Hi to all fellow Bellville City Family, I, Gordon, your Club Captain will be frequently posting new comments, reports and updates regarding the club, teams and players from my perspective.

Having started my soccer career here at BCFC at the tender age of 7, I always inspired to play for the First Team. At that stage we had the likes of the towering frame of Ian Trout in goals, the majestic touches of Danny Smyth (Life Member) in the midfield, the electric speed and pinpoint execution of Terry Wilmot in defense and the finishing ability of any modern player today from our own Club Chairman Sean Smit.

Having to work hard, sacrifice much and keeping the passion for BCFC close to heart, I was drafted in the First Team setup at the age of 17. The team and club were, and still is, a very proud family based club, our emphasis being on getting the families and friends involved in the club – making all players, parents and friends feel welcome and apart of the BCFC family.

I will be available to all players, both junior and seniors, coaches, parents and supporters if there are any concerns,  positives and/or feedback that arise during the season, so please do not hesitate to come chat to me or contact me.
