Son of BCFC legend Paul Grobler, Wella started his football career as an U10 at BCFC and went on to represent the Tygerberg District, Western Province and South Africa! During his time as a player, Wella won 6 Senior League Titles and 4 Knockout Cups.
After a successful career playing football, Wella decided that he wanted to remain involved in the game and, with his desire and passion to give back and use his experience to develop youth within the game, embarked on a strategy coaching and youth development path.
Wella has obtained coaching experience across and within both senior and junior club structures, coaching U18’s, U19’s and several senior teams across most of CTTFA’s divisions. In 2016 he was awarded Coach of the Year for his contribution to youth development, winning the CCTFA 3rd Division with an U19 squad in the process.
BCFC welcomes Wella to “THE CITY”!
